Does Shopify have a bandwidth or traffic limit?

Is there a bandwidth cap or fee on any Shopify plan?

No. Shopify's pricing FAQ "Do I get web hosting with Shopify?" says hosting comes with your plan and Shopify "includes unlimited bandwidth (no bandwidth fees)" — no tier is named, none is excluded.

The Help Center's web-performance guide says it in plainer words: your online store "is hosted on fast, global servers and doesn't limit your store's bandwidth".

Is there a limit on visitors or traffic to a Shopify store?

Not a fixed one for shoppers. shopify.dev's Storefront API rate limits say "requests from real buyers aren’t subject to a fixed request-per-minute limit" — "fixed", not "none", and buyers, not the automated traffic Shopify does throttle:

Which limits does Shopify actually apply?

Three limits close to bandwidth and traffic do apply:

• File storage: 100 GB on Basic (also Starter, Pause and Build, Retail), 300 GB on Grow, 500 GB on Advanced, 1 TB on Plus and 10 TB on Enterprise — see the file storage limit on each plan.
• Checkout creation: shopify.dev says Shopify limits how many checkouts can be created on the Storefront API per minute and returns a throttled error to an API client over that throttle; the page gives no figure.
• Bot protection: the bot protection feature is "available only for merchants on a Shopify Plus plan", and when a Plus merchant schedules it, the setting that stops bots from auto-completing checkout is on by default — see what Shopify already runs against bots.

Storage and the Plus bot protection feature change with your plan; bandwidth and human traffic don't, so traffic is no reason to buy a higher tier.
