For Shopify app developers and service providers
Partnership Terms
What we can do for your app or service, what we don't do, and the one thing we ask in return.
Last updated: September 28, 2026
What we offer
We write one separate article about your app or service. It is not a feature review. It is a use case: which merchant problem your product solves, how exactly it solves it, and where it does better than the alternatives a merchant would otherwise pick.
- We write it ourselves. Like every other article on this site, it is generated by AI in the same pipeline and goes through the same fact checks.
- For an app, we check the numbers against its Shopify App Store listing, not against your pitch.
- We describe what your product does not do next to what it does.
- You get no sign-off on the text and no veto over the verdict. Before publication we send you a preview link so you can point out factual errors, and we correct those.
What we don't do
We do not change published articles at your request: no added text, no added links or mentions, no new place in a comparison.
The reason is how the site works. Every article here is generated by AI in one pipeline, and that is what keeps the articles objective. We edit a published article by hand only to get the facts right. If an article gets something about your product wrong, tell us: that is a correction, and it is always welcome.
Beyond corrections, the one thing you can add to the article about your product is your own comment, in a section of its own.
Your own comment in the article
You can add to the article only in the form of your own comment or information. We publish it in a separate, clearly labelled section of the article, “From the developer”, under your company's name. There readers get your own view of your product and useful details that are not publicly available: your own measurements, how the product works inside, what is planned.
- Every sentence in that section is attributed to you and kept apart from our text, so readers always know whose words they are reading.
- Anything we can check ourselves, against a public page or in our own test, we check, and it appears in the article as our own finding instead.
- Statements about Shopify itself stay out of that section. For those we rely on Shopify's own documentation.
- We may shorten your comment to what helps a merchant decide, but we never change its meaning.
Articles change over time
Every article on this site is updated periodically. Its text and data may change to keep the information current and to explain it better to readers. That includes the article about your product.
During those updates your product may also appear in other articles, on the same grounds as any other product. It never appears there as part of our arrangement, and we don't promise that it will.
How we link to you
Our links to your app are affiliate links.
A link from this site to your app points to its Shopify App Store listing and goes through Shopify's affiliate program, not yours or any other developer's. It is tagged rel="sponsored nofollow", like every other affiliate link here.
Any commission is paid by Shopify, and it is the same whichever app an article names. Nothing changes for you or for the merchant: the link opens your listing, the same page at the same price, with no extra step.
- We do not join the affiliate programs app developers offer.
- A link to a site Shopify does not own carries no affiliate tag.
- No money changes hands in either direction. There are no paid placements on this site.
The details are in our Advertising Policy.
What we ask in return
In return, we ask for one link to this site from yours, in one of three forms:
- A press section. A link to the article we wrote, placed in your “Press” or “As featured in” block.
- A partners section. A link to shopify.ecom-store.pro in your partners or agencies block. The site also carries our own Shopify store development services.
- A guest post. A post on your blog, on a topic relevant to your audience, written by us or by you, with a link to a relevant page on this site.
We don't ask for specific anchor text, and how the link is marked is your decision. The link does not change anything in our articles: the article about your product follows the same rules as any other.
How to start
Email shopify@ecom-store.pro with:
- your Shopify App Store listing or your service's website;
- the merchant problem your product solves;
- which of the three link forms suits you.
What happens next:
- We confirm the topic of the article.
- We write the article and check its facts.
- We send you a preview link to check the facts.
- We publish the article. We don't commit to a publication date.
- You place the link.
This site is written for Shopify merchants, so we only write about apps and services that solve a real merchant problem. We may decline if yours doesn't.
How we write and check articles is described in our Editorial Policy.
