Which stores and carriers can offer pickup points?

Unlike pickup in store, pickup points are third-party locations such as post offices or parcel lockers. You need store and fulfillment locations in France, Italy, Spain or the UK plus a supporting carrier; the Pickup points page lists six:

Royal Mail joined across the UK on October 15, 2026.

Outside those four countries, you need Shopify Plus and a custom app on the Pickup Point Delivery Option Generator API; App Store apps and non-Plus custom apps lack access, and this route can't buy Shopify shipping labels.

How do you turn pickup points on?

In Shopify adminOpen in your store
  1. Settings
  2. Shipping and delivery
  3. Pickup points
Three of our locations are in Canada, Ukraine and the US, one is an app location, and every one reads Not eligible.

Set them up per eligible location: click the location, turn on Ship to pickup points from this location, select providers, give them a flat, weight or price-based rate, and save. Pickup point zones aren't configured separately; they follow that location's shipping zones plus all regions of the country where it's based, but not zones in an app-managed shipping profile.

When do pickup points disappear from checkout?

Checkout hides pickup points when:

  • the cart's physical products can't all ship from one location;
  • that location lacks stock for the entire order;
  • the customer pays with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay or PayPal;
  • it's a B2B checkout;
  • the checkout mixes delivery methods;
  • a given pickup point is full; that point alone is hidden until it has room.

A carrier pickup point order can't be edited once placed, and a Colissimo pickup order can't get a label to a non-pickup point.
